Dr. Syed Salman Raza Jaafery

Dr. Syed Salman Raza Jaafery is a Neurosurgeon with more than 21 years of experience in the Field of Neurosurgery. He graduated from King Edward Medical College Lahore in 1999 which is the best Medical College of Pakistan. He was trained at the Departments of Neurosurgery Mayo Hospital Lahore (2000-2003), Services Hospital Lahore (2003-2005) and Lahore General Hospital Lahore (2005-2009), the last being the Largest and the busiest Neurosurgery Hospitals of Pakistan and one of the best Neurosurgery Teaching and Training Centers of Pakistan. He received Gold Medal from University of Health Sciences (U.H.S.) Lahore in his Neurosurgery Specialization Examination viz. Master of Surgery in Neurosurgery (M.S. Neurosurgery) by securing the first position in the M.S. Neurosurgery Examination U.H.S. held in March 2009.

After his Specialization, he worked as Senior Registrar Neurosurgery (March 2009) and then as Consultant Neurosurgeon (April 2009-August 2009) at Lahore General Hospital Lahore. In August 2009, in collaboration with the Health Department of Government of Punjab, Pakistan, he founded the Department of Neurosurgery at Government M.C. General Hospital (Kot Khwaja Saeed Hospital) North Lahore and worked as the first Consultant Neurosurgeon and Head of the Department of Neurosurgery there from August 2009 to October 2009.

Dr. Syed Salman Raza Jaafery joined the Department of Neurosurgery Rashid Hospital Dubai in November 2009, which is one of the best Neurosurgery Centers in UAE. He worked there as Specialist Neurosurgeon from November 2009 to December 2021.

He has vast experience of treating the diseases of brain including brain tumours, hydrocephalus, brain haemorrhage, brain infections requiring operative intervention, ischemic stroke requiring surgery, CSF rhinorrhoea etc. He can treat a wide variety of the diseases of the spine including spinal tumours, cervical and lumbar disc diseases, cauda equina syndrome, degenerative diseases of the spine etc. He can effectively treat head injuries, headache, neck pain, back pain etc.
